A Hublot watch is offered to the winners of the FIFA BALLON D’OR 2010

On Monday 10th January, the stars of world football convened at the Zurich Kongresshaus for the inaugural FIFA Ballon d’Or event. Combining the Ballon d’Or and FIFA’s World Player Gala the event was hosted to recognise the elite talent in world football.

One of the biggest winners of the evening was José Mourinho, coach of the treble winning Inter Milan and current coach of Real Madrid, who was awarded with the FIFA World Coach of the Year award. FIFA chose to present the best coach in the world with a specially engraved Hublot watch, a fitting gift for a manager who’s top class performance saw his Inter Milan side win last year’s editions of the Serie A, the Italian Cup and the UEFA Champions League.

FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke also presented Hublot watches to the other FIFA Ballon d’Or categories, a fitting gift for football’s “living legends”.

Hublot was the first luxury brand to invest in football and was proud to reaffirm its passion and dedication to the sport at the FIFA Ballon d’Or awards.
