The Caliber 99.2 is the first movement that was developed in the Dornblüth manufactory. With its three-wheel bevel gear mechanism and its subsidiary second driven indirectly below the train, it forms the basis of all following Dornblüth watches.
This Caliber offers as functions a power reserve indicator by means of the bevel gear differential and an oversized eccentric second display, indirectly driven below the train by means of an intermediate gear, with friction spring and cantilevered second pinion.
The movement is powered with 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour and run for 50 hours. It’s also equipped with a Swan Neck regulator and a screwed balance, it’s an excellent choice for this beautifull german movement.
As a typical german movement, the caliber is designed with a roségold plated three-quarter plate finished with Geneva stripes.
You can find this movement on the model Caliber Ref.99.2
