Les Montres Show (The Watches show) has become nowadays one of the most unavoidable event for amateurs of matchmaking. Organized by Arnaud and Jean Lassaussois, owners of the prestigious shop Les Montres, the 6th edition of the show will take place this time on November 12th, 13th and 14th, 2009 in the heart of Saint-Germain des Près. This event will last three days, and will bring together all the biggest names of the Haute Horlogerie…
A new Gem! Because of the increasing number of visitors, Les Montres show has moved this year to a bigger, more luminous, and as usual cosy place. It will be set at 4 place Saint-Germain des Près, in the 6th district of the French capital. this new gem will welcome you for a prestigious show with a very Parisian elegance.
An event opened to everybody… Passionate of beautiful mechanical watches will enjoy discovering and trying the latest watchemaking creation, made by the most prestigious brands, in a very warm atmosphere. Still as committed as ever to making the planned meeting, A.Lange and Söhne, Bell & Ross, Blancpain, BRM, Chanel, Hermès, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger Lecoultre, Oris, Panerai and Rolex will be joined this year by Vacheron Constantin. A golden mean to satisfy your curiosity freely. And since falling in love can happen anytime, it will also be possible to buy the presented watches.
Some workshops not to miss! To make this trip in the world of watchmakers perfect, many organized activities will take place to unveil the secret or these craftsmen of the infinitely small. A watchmaking workshop, conducted by Rolex will reveal the very meticulous work needed to make every watch-keeper. Saddlery workshop presented by Hermès will explain the manufacturing process of custom-made bracelets; a temporary library will offer all the best books about watchmaking. And as a bonus, eight people will be selected randomly and offered by Jaeger Lecoultre an initiating watchmaking training, in order cultivate during one day the passion of these few lucky ones.
