Ellicott presents the Mach One Skymaster Aviator watch, a hybrid wristwatch which features « stealth » carbon, a composite material resulting from the stealth technology.
Initially used in the aeronautics and space industry, notably for its high mechanical resistance and lightweight properties, the composite materials integrating carbon fibre are taking over the watchmaking sector with the Mach One collection by Ellicott.
Exclusively developed by Ellicott in 2009, in tribute to the aeronautics with the launch of the Mach One Airforce, the carbon “stealth” concept comes into the conception of the said “hybrid” case of the Mach One collection, which is realised out of blocks of monolithic carbon epoxy and scratch-resistant steel.
The stealth Mach One Skymaster Aviator watch neither interfere with radio antenna nor with radars, but comprises in its design a high tech material which gives it an unparalleled lightness and comfort. Ergonomic and practical, its case of cushion shape has a satin-finished bezel in black DLC steel. The dial in carbon fibre displays like a dashboard the centre second and a date at 6 o’clock.
The Mach One Skymaster is available with three dials according to the materials and colours selected by Ellicott.
